My name is Nora Speziale, and I play Goalkeeper for the Surf San Diego SC 2009 ECNL National Champion team. I am known for being a fearless and vocal goalie, a trustworthy teammate and leader, and a dominator in the box with accurate distribution. I am right footed but very precise with my left foot. I started varsity high school soccer as a freshman and was voted Rookie of the year for my team. At my former club, I was selected to the National Albion Elite program. I chose to join Surf because I wanted to compete with and against the very best in the Nation.

I put in my best effort on and off the field in everything I do. I am a sophomore at Francis Parker School, and I maintain a 3.7 GPA while participating in high level classes. I hold a leadership position in NCL (National Charity League) and prioritize volunteering. I am grateful for my mom’s military service that provides me access to the Yellow Ribbon and GI Bill Tuition remission Programs.  In my free time, I enjoy blocking banger shots from my sister who will play at UC Irvine as a center back.  To recover, we like to camp at the beach and spend time with family.
