My name is Maya Urias. I found love for the game of soccer when I was 4 years old and began club soccer when I was 8 years old. I am currently a freshman at Olympian High School and play for the Surf 09 ECNL club team. I am able to balance both school and soccer in an effective way and have maintained a 3.8 GPA throughout my academic years. I am a versatile player but my main position is offensive midfielder that can play striker as well. I would describe myself as a hardworking, self-disciplined and aggressive individual that loves to compete and always willing to put their best foot forward and provide goal scoring opportunities for my team. I bring a great attitude and leadership on and off the pitch. I am right foot dominant but can also play with my left. I have previously been selected for the USYNT ID center as well as the PDP state team in which I got the opportunity to play in the Netherlands. In one of my previous club teams I was also selected for the National Albion Elite program. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Soccer is my love and passion, it brings me joy when I’m not playing soccer my other hobbies include going to the gym with my older sister and going to the beach.
