Jaslyn is a highly versatile player who can be an asset in numerous positions, both offensively and defensively. She most often plays as attacking center midfielder and winger. She breaks defensive lines with her speed and athleticism, while displaying highly technical skills when taking on defenders 1v1. She is an architect in the midfield, consistently creating goal scoring opportunities, including several goals and assists during playoffs to help win the ECNL National Championship in 2024. She brings high energy and intensity to the game and is a strong and explosive defender. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to quickly track down players and tackle effectively, creating counterattacks in the final third. Last year, she started as a freshman on varsity at Torrey Pines High School, playing defensive center midfield and helping her team win the Open Division CIF Section Championship. She was named All CIF Second Team and was the only freshman to be named First Team All Coastal League. She has had several mentions by Top Drawer Soccer and Prep Soccer and is currently ranked #11 in CA for her position, and #22 in CA overall by Prep Soccer. She also maintains a GPA of 3.9  while taking honors and AP classes. Outside of school and soccer, she enjoys going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.
