Emma has been with San Diego Surf for one season and previously played on the top 2008 Boys Nott’s Forest Team for four seasons.  She plays in the midfield primarily but can also play striker and center back.  She carries a competitive personality and fights to score and win every ball.  Emma spent a lot of time focusing on footwork and shooting during her elementary and middle school years and has recently focused on movement and distributing the ball to create opportunities for her team.  She is aggressive defensively and wins most tackles.

Before joining Surf, she participated in the SoCal PDP regional team for the 2007 age group and played for the Youth National Futsal Team.  As a high school freshman, Emma played varsity.  She won the Southern California Butch Lee Memorial Tournament with her high school team and earned the MVP award.  Emma made the Western League-All League First Team and the CIF San Diego Section All League Team.   

Off the soccer field, Emma loves baking, volunteering at the hospital, tennis, cycling, jet skiing, reading books, listening to Taylor Swift, and hanging out at the beach with friends.  Her academic goal for high school is to challenge herself with rigorous courses and hopefully earn the Valedictorian title.
