Celia has been a goalkeeper for 10 years, and prior to this past season with San Diego Surf, she played a year up in the 2007 age group for Sporting California Arsenal. Celia is a vocal player, taking a leadership role when communicating information with her back line and the rest of her team using her perspective of the pitch. Celia has high technical ability, dominating with her hands and feet. In 2022, Celia won the gold medal in the U-15 National CONADE Junior-Olympic Games in Mexico with IME Femenil. She was also a U-17 participant in 2023 and 2024. She received Academic Honors as well as 2nd Team All-League for the 23-24 season at her high school. 

Celia loves spending time with family, especially when she visits Mexico. She enjoys going on walks, watching movies with her sister Alazne (22), and going to keeper training.
