Amanda has been a San Diego Surf-grown talent since age seven.  She primarily plays outside back, but can also play the midfield when needed and is a very intelligent, creative player with superb first touch and control, an excellent passer, and quick on the transition to add to a strong attacking Surf style. She also plays with great positioning, consistently making smart, professional tackles that halt opponent advances. She has been chosen by team/coaches as the primary choice to take Penalty Kicks in game situations when available and is often near the top of the team in assists facilitating from the back line and driving forward to create advantages in the attacking area that has contributed to an undefeated ECNL Southwest conference record this season. Amanda has been recognized as a talented two-way outside back and Top Drawer Soccer Top 150 National Ranking consistently ranks her in the top 50 overall and top 10 defender for 2026.  Amanda has been part of several USYNT U14/15 ID centers and was called up to a U15 National team Camp in Florida. She has also played internationally on 2 occasions, first traveling to Portugal playing up against U18 academy teams of professional clubs FC Porto, Sporting and Benfica.  Last year she traveled to Germany as a player captain to face U17 teams of FC Nurnberg and FC Augsburg and has been invited back this fall to train with a club in Austria and compete again in Germany.  

Off the soccer field she strives to excel academically at her high school. She also has attained her Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and actively enjoys working out, cooking and biking.
